About Us
Metea Valley Robotics is split into 7 different teams. Each team, made up of 5-6 members, work together throughout each year to build, code, test, and compete with a robot.

Mr. Schey, with us since 2014, built the groundwork for Metea Valley's Robotics program and led our teams to success.
Having a variety of technical skills,
he helps students design, program, and fix any problems that arise along the way.
Mr. Romeo, with us since 2016, finds his enjoyment in the world of computers. Although not knowing too much
on how to code a robot, he has the passion and
dedication to learn and help our students! Nonetheless, he has led
our teams to multiple achievements, starting his first year leading one of our teams to the
Create U.S. Open event.
This year, we have introduced mentors to the Metea Valley Robotics team. Our mentors are experienced veterans of the team and are permitted to join the meetings to see what each team's plan is for the season. Students are also able to ask them for guidance in certain areas such as build designs and programming.
